Kebbi Solar Mini-Grid Cluster
Project Summary
A hybrid solar mini-grid cluster built to solve two problems at once: reliable power for agro-processing facilities that had been running on diesel, and electrification for the communities around them.
The system combines solar generation with battery storage and a diesel back-up layer, sized to carry processing loads through the day and community lighting and small-appliance loads into the evening — displacing a meaningful share of diesel consumption from year one.
